Find People, find Things

On violet.net you can search for People or for their Things.

If you know the person you're looking for (his/her name, surname), go to the People section and type in your search criteria. You can also browse the directory randomly by searching people nearby for example.

Within the search results you can send a message, add someone to your contacts or view his/her profile and see his/her Objects.

You can search for specific Things by clicking on 'Things' in the top menu. Search for an Object you know the name, Objects in a location or of a defined type.

You can then view the pedigree of the Objects found and view the profile of their owner.

Browse around in the People and Things directory and find thousands of connected Things in the World.

View their profile, send them messages and make new friends!

At any time you can define if you want your profile and your Objects' Pedigree to appear in the directory.

To control your profile or the pedigree of your Object in the directory of People/Things, go to the 'Directory' tab in your profile or in your Object's Pedigree.

You can also define if you want to confirm when people add you to their contacts (go to your preferences to set this option).
